Sat 29th Apr 7:00 am 12:30 pm | The Neuse River Bridge Run is four separate events: 1/2 Marathon, 10K, 5K and the SuperKids Fun Run. All 4 events for 2023 will be offered as either an in-person event or as a virtual run/walk. (Total of eight events) The NRBR follows routes over bridges, through historic neighborhoods, and through downtown New Bern. In addition to the in-person races the NRBR will continue to offer all four options as virtual events for 2023. All three of these events will be timed. A chip enabled bib is required and will distributed at Race-Kit Pick-up events at the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center on Friday, April 28 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 29 from 6:00 a.m. to 15 minutes before the start of your race. Mon 29th May to Sun 4th Jun | The Champions Fore Change Invitational, a new tournament that celebrates the work of the tour and its partners in their commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The Epson Tour and its partners are continuously working to support the dreams of athletes around the world and provide the best opportunities to grow both their careers and the game of golf. The Champions Fore Change Invitational is a great way to showcase the talent on the Road to the LPGA and celebrate the multitude of various nationalities represented on tour. The professional young women that will be participating will bring inspiration for the youth and women in Eastern North Carolina to play this wonderful game. The field will consist of 144 athletes, including Epson Tour members and special exemptions. The winner of the Mack Champ Invitational, a tournament for the game’s best junior golfers of diverse backgrounds, will be invited to compete on the big stage, as well as the winners of the National Women’s Collegiate Golf Championship and the PGA Works Collegiate Championship.
