John Brown’s “Little” Big Band in Concert – BIG BAND SWING

The John Brown “little” Big Band is an 11-piece band that has a BIG sound! The group packs a punch and has the big band sound without the additional horns we bring along with our Jazz Orchestra.

This is a professional jazz ensemble made up of top musicians, specializing in performances of traditional compositions from the Great American Songbook and today’s cutting-edge arrangements. The group also performs a wide range of material covering all eras of jazz repertoire including the music and arrangements of legends including Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Mel Torme, Count Basie, Thad Jones, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman and more.
