New Bern Egg Hunt- “The New Bern Bunny EggScavenger Hunt”

Get your egg hunt on and join us in this fun family adventure!
Get your egg hunt on at over 38 of New Bern’s favorite businesses (downtown or city-wide), visit the Easter Bunny, and join us in this Egg-stravagant event! You can go to as many or as few of the sites as you like over the two week time period.
Families are invited to join us in this city-wide egg hunt. Participating families will enjoy a printable map with clues and a stamp card. The map will contain clues indicating which businesses will have treat filed eggs, coloring pages, temporary tattoos, suckers, or more waiting for you!
Upon receiving their map, families will then visit host business’ to grab their easter egg (1 at each location) or prize and receive a stamp on their participation card from the host business. EGGS ARE LOCATED AT OVER 38 OF NEW BERN’S HOTTEST BUSINESSES! This is a great way to support your small business owners, enjoy a fun family activity, stroll through downtown, visit your favorite local spots, support 4 local non-profits, and hunt for tons of eggs!
Participants can complete their egg hunt anytime between March 20 and April 3. Visit as many places as you would like.
Participants of the egg scavenger hunt will automatically be entered into our raffle to win a favorite local prize from Jumping’ Jive Battlefield, ATA Martial Arts of New Bern, Wild Birds Unlimited, Blue Magnolia, Magnolia Jane Salon, Peacocks Plume, and much more!
In addition, families who are participating in this fun family adventure will receive a free craft kit and bunny glasses HANDED TO YOU BY THE EASTER BUNNY at your favorite local New Bern Farmers Market and/or the Omarks Building!
Stop by and visit the Easter bunny for a free selfie at the farmers market on March 27, and April 3 from 8 am-12 pm! Participants will receive a free craft kit.
You may also visit the Easter bunny to grab your free craft kit and/or take a formal sitting photo with Beary Merry Christmas’s Easter bunny on March 27, and April 3 from 12 pm-7:00 pm IN THE O’MARKS BUILDING DOWNTOWN. Families also have the option to return their completed craft kit and display their it at a local business! However, it gets better, participating “artists” who display their work will have a chance to win a eggtastic prize! There are three categories for winners: Ages 2-6 Ages 7-11 and ages 12-15. One artist will win from each category.
